This new Sheaffer pen has both cap and barrel finished in brushed chrome.  The cap has a bright gold band and clip.  The ballpoint mechanism is operated by twisting the cap and uses standard Sheaffer refills.

This pen has a nice solid, chunky feel and is a quality product and is designed to complement the rest of the Prelude range, especially the 342 fountain pen.
